Establishment

The Student Council was established in the year 2022 with the purpose of representing the voice of students and strengthening student participation in institutional activities. Since its formation, the Council has served as a bridge between students and the administration, ensuring smooth communication and active involvement in academic and co-curricular development.

Coordinator Details

The Student Council functions under the guidance of Ms Sufiya Anjum, who serves as the HoD of Arts. The coordinator oversees the planning and execution of council activities, monitors student initiatives, and ensures that all programs are conducted in an organized and disciplined manner. The Council typically consists of a President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Joint Secretary, Cultural Secretary, Sports Secretary, Sports Representatives and Class Representatives.

Aims of the Student Council

1. To represent the interests and concerns of students.
2. To promote leadership, responsibility, and accountability among students.
3. To encourage active participation in academic and extracurricular activities.
4. To maintain harmony and cooperation between students and faculty.
5. To foster a sense of unity and institutional pride.

Objectives of the Student Council

1. To organize student-centered activities such as orientation programs, seminars, cultural events, and awareness campaigns.
2. To address student grievances and communicate them to the administration.
3. To assist in maintaining discipline and promoting positive behavior on campus.
4. To support college events and coordinate with various committees.
5. To develop communication, organizational, and decision-making skills among student leaders.
