Invitation. Anchoring
World Mental Health Day, an annual global observance intended to promote awareness of mental wellbeing, was celebrated in our institution on 10th October 2025 with a thoughtful sequence of activities.


Qirath Naath
The program began with anchoring by Mahtab and Hafsa of 2nd Yr BCA, who guided the event with confidence and clarity. The session opened with a recitation of Qirath by Aliya of 1st Yr BCA, followed by a Nath presented by Afifa Aliya of 1st Yr BCA, creating a calm and respectful atmosphere.

A warm welcome speech was delivered by Nadiya of 3rd Yr BSc, who introduced the purpose of the gathering and acknowledged the presence of the dignitaries. This was followed by the symbolic act of plant watering carried out by the guest and the Principal, highlighting growth and care as central themes of mental health.

The Principal addressed the audience with an insightful speech, emphasizing the importance of emotional resilience, supportive environments, and open conversation about mental wellbeing. The invited guest, Ms. Sherline Deepak, a psychologist, delivered an engaging and informative talk that focused on practical strategies for maintaining mental balance, recognizing early signs of distress, and seeking help without hesitation.

Overall, the celebration served as a valuable reminder of the need to prioritize mental health in everyday life and foster a compassionate community within the institution.
